Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Post job openings on various platforms, including job boards, social media, and the company website.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees, including preparing orientation materials and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing records and databases.
  • Monitor staffing levels and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
  • Work with HR team to implement and enhance recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Provide support in organizing job fairs and recruitment events.

  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Collect and screen applicants
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Recruit and hire staff

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Office environment with typical office hours, though some flexibility may be required during peak recruitment periods.
  • May involve occasional travel to job fairs or recruitment events.
