Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance. Foster a positive work environment and ensure team cohesion.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receiving, storing, and distribution of goods, ensuring inventory accuracy through regular counts and audits.
- Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including shipment scheduling, order fulfillment, and transportation arrangements.
- Process Optimization: Implement best practices for warehouse operations, including layout optimization, workflow efficiency, and inventory management techniques.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety training and maintain compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of products and packaging, ensuring that items are handled and stored properly to minimize damage and loss.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, shipment schedules, and staff performance. Generate reports for upper management as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
- Customer Service: Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, logistics) to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
