The janitor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for employees, clients, and visitors. Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchen areas, and office spaces.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Respond to cleaning emergencies and spills promptly.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down rooms for meetings and events as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a janitor, custodian, or similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery (e.g., floor buffers, industrial vacuums).
- Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to lift, bend, and kneel.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Initiative to identify and complete cleaning needs without direct supervision.
