We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our team. This role involves cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products for retail or wholesale distribution. The ideal candidate will have experience in meat cutting, a strong understanding of meat handling and safety practices, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut and Prepare Meat: Perform a variety of meat cutting tasks including slicing, dicing, and trimming meat products according to customer specifications or company standards. Ensure all meat is cut and prepared to meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the meat preparation area, including tools and equipment, clean and sanitized. Adhere to all hygiene and safety protocols to prevent contamination.
  • Manage Inventory: Monitor inventory levels of meat products and supplies. Report any shortages, quality issues, or discrepancies to the supervisor. Assist with ordering and restocking as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections, offering recommendations, and addressing any questions or special requests.
  • Follow Safety Regulations: Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to meat handling and preparation. Use proper protective equipment and follow procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Handle Equipment: Operate meat cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure proper function and longevity.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of meat sales, production, and inventory. Ensure all documentation is completed as required.

Qualifications:
