The Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience in a retail setting. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:
    • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs and inquiries.
    • Provide detailed information about products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
    • Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  2. Sales and Promotion:
    • Actively engage with customers to drive sales and achieve individual and store sales goals.
    • Promote current promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs to increase sales.
    • Upsell or cross-sell products based on customer needs and preferences.
  3. Product Knowledge:
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and industry trends to provide accurate information and recommendations.
    • Stay informed about new arrivals, seasonal products, and inventory changes.
  4. Store Presentation:
    • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
    • Assist with setting up promotional displays and signage to enhance the shopping experience.
  5. Transaction Processing:
    • Operate cash registers and process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and ensure proper management of financial transactions.
  6. Inventory Management:
    • Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.
    • Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to management.
  7. Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a cohesive work environment.
    • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other activities to stay updated on store policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail or sales experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong sales abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills and familiarity with cash register operations are beneficial.
  • Customer Focus: A positive attitude with a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the customer experience.

Working Conditions:
