Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activities or unauthorized personnel.
• Monitoring: Monitor surveillance equipment, alarms, and security systems to identify potential threats and respond accordingly.
• Access Control: Manage access points, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the facility, and maintain visitor logs as needed.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents, providing first aid and coordinating with local authorities as necessary.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports of incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities, documenting findings and actions taken.
• Customer Service: Provide assistance and information to employees and visitors, promoting a positive and safe environment.
• Policy Enforcement: Enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and emergency protocols.

Tasks

• Guard armoured cars
• Investigate unlawful acts of employees or patrons of establishments
• Recommend security systems
• Assist clients/guests with special needs
• Produce reports
• Check age identification of patrons
• Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts and to monitor establishment activities
• Operate security control room equipment
• Patrol assigned areas
• Pick up and deliver cash and valuables
• Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in security management is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a security role or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
• Skills:
  • Strong observational and surveillance skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
  • Basic knowledge of security systems and protocols.
  • Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to emergencies.

Working Conditions:
