Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning Patient Rooms: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, including beds, furniture, surfaces, and bathroom fixtures.
2. Disinfecting Surfaces: Using appropriate disinfectants to clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and handrails.
3. Trash Disposal: Collecting and disposing of waste and biomedical waste according to hospital policies and infection control guidelines.
4. Floor Care: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in patient rooms, hallways, and other hospital areas.
5. Restocking Supplies: Ensuring adequate stock of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and linens in patient rooms and common areas.
6. Operating Equipment: Using and maintaining cleaning equipment and machinery such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners.
7. Compliance: Adhering to hospital safety and infection control policies, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
