Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and inventory control of products and materials.

- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Ensure that all employees wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Ensure that hazardous materials are handled, stored, and disposed of in accordance with legal and safety requirements.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
- Implement Lean or Six Sigma practices to reduce waste and increase productivity.
- Analyze workflow and operational data to develop solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Work with other departments (e.g., sales, procurement, and customer service) to ensure smooth operations and meet customer demands.
- Technology and Systems Management:
- Use warehouse management software (WMS) to track inventory, orders, and shipments.
- Leverage technology to automate processes, improve tracking, and streamline operations (e.g., barcode scanning, RFID systems).
- Stay updated on the latest logistics and warehouse management technologies to drive efficiency.
- Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the warehouse’s budget, including expenses related to staffing, equipment, and materials.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational efficiency or safety.
- Monitor and control overhead costs related to warehouse operations.
- Customer Service and Communication:
- Ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly and shipped on time to meet customer expectations.
- Work with customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory issues.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to manage stock levels and reorder materials as needed.
- Reporting and Documentation:
